Pan-Fried Beef Steak with Tangy Sauce

Pan-Fried Beef Steak with Tangy Sauce:

Ingredients:

  • 2 beef steaks 
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat.

  2. Season the beef steaks with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  3. Place the steaks in the hot pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Adjust the cooking time based on the thickness of the steaks and your preferred level of doneness. Remove the steaks from the pan and set them aside.

  4. In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.

  5. Reduce the heat to low and add the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice to the pan. Stir well to combine the ingredients and let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it slightly thickens.

  6. Return the cooked steaks to the pan, coating them with the tangy sauce. Flip the steaks a couple of times to ensure they are evenly coated.

  7. Continue cooking the steaks in the sauce for an additional minute or two, allowing the flavors to meld together.

  8. Remove the steaks from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing.
